Nick Loxx

Nick Loxx is a multi-instrumentalist with over 20 years in the music industry, focusing primarily on rock and metal music. With countless bands under his belt and gigs numbering in the triple digits, Nick is a seasoned veteran of both the stage and studio having toured across the US in everything from extreme metal to southern rock and recording at the world famous EMI studios in Nashville, TN.

Starting relatively late, Nick picked up the guitar at 17 and instantly fell in love with the instrument. It wasn’t until many years later though that several opportunities arose to change directions, so Nick switched to Bass guitar, and found his true calling.

Currently, Nick performs with Our Dying World, a melodic death metal band, and also Area 51, a symphonic death metal band. Our Dying World is currently working on their sophomore effort following their debut release last year, Hymns of Blinding Darkness, which received critical praise from metal magazines around the globe. Area 51 is currently working on its debut release due summer 2023 and will be performing at various festival shows in 2024.

During his free time, Nick composes ambient and electronic music under the moniker Ambiatron, because as Nick says, “It’s good to be well rounded”.
