Vernon extended his career to acting both in movies and television and now, Vernon can be seen on televisions, ipads, tablets, smart phones across the world in 3 major film company releases, Universals "Along Came Polly", Warner Bros. "Starsky and Hutch", and Columbia Pictures "Walk Hard". Vernon has also appeared in the UPN Network's hit television sitcom "One On One", and "Girlfriends", both now in syndication globally.
Adding on his tremendous lists of accomplishments Vernon is endorsed by many well known instrument and accessory manufacturers, Vigier Guitars, Seymour Duncan, Morley, Xotic Pedals, Gianinni acoustic guitars and strings (has is own signature string called “The Power String”, Meteoro Amps, Tecniforte Cables, Digitech, Levys Straps, Wampler Pedals, Neck Illusions and other software sponsors. Vernon made history in the country of Argentina by conceiving and putting on the first guitar competition in the history of that country, which was a huge success called “Guitar Power”. It was supported by major media in Argentina, MTV, CM, and Argentinian radio giant Rock & Pop 95.9.
Recently Vernon co-headlined a successful tour with his longtime friend, Jennifer Batten as they played to capacity filled venues in Buenos Aires, San Juan, and La Plata Argentina. They also appeared on Fox Network’s Popular Late Night TV show “Nunca Es Tarde” reaching the entire country of Argentina.
