Royce Johns
Royce Johns has been playing music his whole life, from piano at age 8 and guitar at 14. He was raised on country music, classic rock, and a variety of music spanning from alternative to blues.
Always having an “old soul” for music, Royce has spent much of his adult life listening to the music of the 1950's to today. Known for his explosive stage antics and showmanship, at age 19 Royce was featured in the Des Moines Register's Iowa Life front page along side his bandmates in Lincoln Rockhouse - the central Iowa rock/variety cover trio that started with Royce on lead guitar & vocals.
Recently in January 2016 Royce had the opportunity to play after Grammy nominee Eric Paslay at Shotgun Betty's in West Des Moines Iowa. Still playing with Lincoln Rockhouse weekly, as an active performer he has started to branch out with more solo work as a full time musician with his soon to be E.P. of original material being planned for release
